We have an obsession with SUVs and 4x4s. Really, you say – there can’t possibly be that many people in the market for a vehicle with the proportions of a tank and the running costs of a large suburban house. But there is. According to the organisation of Transport & Environment, a whopping 60% of new cars registered in 2023 were SUVs. We can’t get enough of them.
