Hit Your Apex. Comfortably. Welcome to the BMW M235i xDrive Gran Coupe

BMW’s famous marketing campaign: Ultimate Driving Machine, has arguably been overused – it helps BMW to sell cars, no matter the engine, drivetrain, or market segment. It is – essentially – a story. However – and this is a big ‘however’, there is substance behind the well-funded motto. BMW still produce some of the most evocative, entertaining, and engaging cars around. Admittedly, we are no longer afforded the privilege of V10 M5s and cacophonous V8s, but the brand is still making waves in a whole host of segments.

Take our BMW M235i xDrive Gran Coupe Step Auto, for example; a vehicle with masses of character, style, and contemporary thinking. Ok – the name ‘M235i’ does suggest a product forged by the legendary ‘M’ division. It isn’t. But, in many ways, this is no bad thing – BMW has done such a good job at producing a fun, everyday premium saloon that it needs to be thought of as an alternative to a genuine ‘M’ car, not a lesser sibling. And let’s face it, most people want speed, power, handling, and performance, but with a soft ride that gives you an easy time on the way into the office. The M235i gives you exactly that.

It's no slouch, either. The TwinPower turbo technology, combined with an 8-speed auto transmission produces 302bhp and accelerates the car from 0-60mph in 4.9 seconds. These were supercar numbers not that long ago. The xDrive system also allows for direct steering and confidence-inspiring cornering agility without interfering with the overall spritely feel of the saloon. And we need the 4WD tech in the UK, particularly with our recent influxes of inclement weather. We may want to imagine we’ll be driving along the California coast, but in reality, we’ll be battling rainstorms, branch-strewn country lanes, and muddy driveways.

Our example is advertised at £32,490, has covered 9,200 miles from new, and benefits from a host of enticing options, such as the M35i Pro Pack (giving you Harman Kardon audio and 19-inch double spoke alloy wheels), the Comfort Pack, panoramic glass sunroof, Illuminated Berlin interior trim, and much more. It’s a pleasure to drive and gives you confidence that these marketing folk do sometimes know what they’re talking about.

Finished in Storm Bay Metallic with Black Trigon cloth and Alcantara upholstery. Our One Owner BMW M235i xDrive Gran Coupe is offered in immaculate condition and has covered 9,200 miles. The vehicle comes complete with a Full BMW main dealer Service History and benefits from the remainder of a manufacturer warranty until December 2025.
